How the AI Video Translator app handles your data.

1. Overview

AI Video Translator ("the App") is a free Android app that translates, dubs and subtitles videos using AI. It is developed by Rathadev ("we", "us", "our") and distributed on the Google Play Store. This policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and the choices you have. By installing or using the App you agree to the practices described here.

2. Permissions the App Uses

To do its job, the App asks for permission to access some of your phone's data:

• Photos and media — so you can pick a video from your gallery to translate. The App only reads the exact file you choose, never your other media.
• Storage / files — so the App can save your translated projects and exported videos to your device.
• Internet — required to run AI translation, natural dubbing and subtitle generation, and to show ads.

3. Information We Process

We designed the App to work with as little personal data as possible:

• Video and audio content you select — temporarily processed by our AI provider to recognize speech, translate it, and generate dubbed audio and subtitles.
• Project data — translated text, subtitle timing, editor layers and settings you create. This stays on your device.
• Advertising identifiers — used by the ad SDK we rely on to serve ads (see section 5).
• Basic diagnostics — anonymous crash and performance data to keep the App reliable.

4. How Your Data Is Used

• To translate, dub and subtitle the videos you process.
• To render and export your projects in the quality and format you choose.
• To keep the App free by serving ads.
• To improve performance and fix crashes.

5. Advertising

The App is free and supported by ads. We use a third-party advertising SDK (Google AdMob) which may use advertising identifiers and collect limited data to serve and measure ads. To reduce or personalize ad data, adjust your device settings (e.g. "Opt out of Ads Personalization" in your Google account preferences). See Google's privacy policy for more details.

6. Storage & Security

Your videos and projects are processed on your device and, while translating, sent securely to our AI provider only for the moment the translation needs it. We do not keep copies, build profiles of your video history, or sell your data. Files you export are saved to your own gallery.

7. AI Accuracy Notice

Translations, voices and subtitles are generated by AI and may contain mistakes. Always review important output before publishing. You remain responsible for the content you create with the App.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete any project inside the App at any time — deleting a project removes its data from your device. Uninstalling the App removes all local data. To ask questions or request deletion of data handled by our services, contact us using the details below.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
